Who Shat-r-Shield is

From their website

Shat-R-Shield's history dates back to the late 1960s, when Jim Nolan co-founded a company that provided plastic-coating services. The early business developed an expertise in coating with nylon, epoxy, vinyl and other plastic materials.
After many months of research and testing, Shat-R-Shield introduced the first plastic-coated, shatterproof fluorescent lamp in 1976, and with that arrival, the protective lighting industry began.
Today Shat-R-Shield provides a full line of shatter-resistant lamps and lighting products that include: fluorescents, incandescents, compact fluorescents, HIDs (high intensity discharge), black lights, germicidals, gold lamps, glow lamps and globes. If a Shat-R-Shield lamp is accidentally broken, virtually all glass, phosphors and mercury are safely contained within the clear and tough, skin-tight plastic coating.
